WBF is awarding two $1,000 scholarships to college students pursuing a career in wildlife management, with an emphasis on waterfowl. This is a special promotion in memory of late members Gary Fisher and David Hagerbaumer. Both were distinguished veterans with a long history of selfless mentoring and promoting waterfowl conservation. Applications due June 30, 2014. The Washington Brant Foundation, in parternership with Burlington Parks and Recreation, are pleased to be offering a beginner to intermediate course on decoy carving. During this 5 week event, you'll carve and paint your own green-winged teal from cork and wood, and finish it with oil paint. The class is open to all ages 10 and up.

As a quick reminder for everyone, this year's event will take place on May 10th at the same venue as last year, Holiday Sports in Burlington, WA.
